NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Vicarage Lane, Bovingdon from a point in line with the southern boundary of ‘Green Lodge’ north westwards to its junction with St Lawrence Close, a distance of approximately 195 metres, except for access, to enable utility connection works to take place.

The section of road will be closed for approximately 3 days during the period 3 June 2013 and 6 June 2013, when signs are in place. An alternative signed route will be provided for traffic whilst the road closure is in place via the High Street.

Compost Awareness Week

In celebration of Compost Awareness Week, Dacorum Borough Council have, for the second year, organised a FREE Compost Giveaway Event on Sunday 12 May between 10.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m. at Cupid Green Depot, Redbourn Road, Hemel Hempstead. HP2 7BA.

You can bring along up to 4 compost/rubble bags to have them filled with compost. The compost is being provided by their green waste reprocessors (Envar), and is produced from the contents of your green wheeled bin. Compost issued on a First come first served basis.
